PhD Posters only collects tax in states where we are required to do so. If you're not in one of these states, then you'll never be charged tax, period.
If you represent a university or other institution which is exempt from state sales tax, PhD Posters may process your order without charging tax. Institutions which we recognize as tax exempt are listed below. If your institution is not in the list below, please email tax_exempt@phdposters.com with a PDF of your exemption certificate, and allow up to a week for verification.
You must use your institutional email address and know your institution's tax exemption ID to qualify. Unfortunately, we are unable to process sales tax exemptions once an order has been paid for. Also, please be sure your order is for institutional use and not personal use.
